This past September, I got the hang out with this lovely tandem on a warm sunny afternoon. They cycled around the island in search for ice cream, cottages and skyline views. One of their favourite things to do is spend a relaxing afternoon together reading their Nooks (E-book) and I think they couldn't have found a more perfect place.
Today Eloise turns one years old! And its true, they grow up so fast. I love her laughing chuckles, the way she grips her avocado and the growling exchanges she has with uncle Gabe. She is the perfect reflection of her dedicated, fun loving parents Celine & Jin; and I feel so blessed to have them in my life. This is the story of a Brit getting married to a Canadian right here in Toronto, in a cute little church on the Islands. Yes, they flew in all the way from their home in Dubai for a beautiful gathering with their closest friends and family. The morning began with the ladies getting their hair dos and make up at Civello on Queen just like in the movies, and the men got a clean shave at the spiffy Truefitt & Hill. How cool is that chair? Both teams then got suited up at One King West, and then they laid eyes on each other for the first time at the bottom of the grand staircase. The skies were blue, and a calm breeze whizzed by us in the open water. There was a lot of time to relax and enjoy so Laura and Joe took a ride around the island and flew on swings before their ceremony. The drinking, dancing and celebration continued at the Steam Whistle Brewery later that evening. It was for me, as I would think everyone else at the wedding a relaxing getaway vacation along the city's lakeshore. Congratulations!
